Wingate Hotel contacted Pillar Roofing after severe roof leaks left its entire third floor unrentable.

Our inspection found a loose EPDM membrane laid over a poorly installed TPO roof and held down with rocks. Although this makeshift covering may once have provided temporary protection, it had stretched, pulled away from the parapet walls, and was allowing significant water intrusion into the rooms below.

We removed the failed materials and installed a fully adhered Carlisle 60-mil TPO retrofit system with an HD cover board and one-inch ISO insulation over the concrete deck. The new roof included fully adhered field membrane and custom-designed parapet-wall flashing, creating a secure, continuous waterproofing system. The completed retrofit stopped the leaks and restored dependable protection over the hotel’s third floor.
